Terrible and disrespectful

ut a week ago my VPS suddenly stopped working. I wasn't able to connect with it through domain, SSH etc. Upon login the status of the account is CANCELLED. I was a bit surprised so I opened ticket and asked them to look into it. Their response was that I must send them ID and the picture of my credit card. I understand this can be some random fraud check or something of this sort (although asking for pictures of CC numbers is a bit dodgy). However they have never asked me to provide anything prior, no e-mail, no request, no warning or anything. They just simply canceled the account completely and didn’t even bother to contact me about it! This behavior also goes against their own ToS: "In case your Order is cancelled and Service(s) are not activated, Hostiso will reimburse you for all pre-paid fees within seven (7) working days as of the date of Hostiso’s formal notice to you that your Order was cancelled. We have no liability for payment of any indemnification, compensation for damage or claims related to the Orders not approved because they have failed our Fraud Screen. No interest or other charges will accrue on the advance paid amounts. " In my case there was no prior warning from their side, no formal notice, and no attempt to contact me either before or after canceling the account. It was me who had to initiate the contact.. Not a nice way of treating a customer of several years. Anyways, just wanted to share my experience with this company. I've been using and I'm still using various VPS providers but this is probably the worst customer service I've experienced so far. So if you don't want to be suddenly cut off the server, lose access to your backup, family pictures etc I suggest to stay away from them.

I’m stunned this company is still in business. They have a laughably rigid "no refunds after 45 days" policy, even if you're left with NINE MONTHS of unusable time on your account. Imagine paying for something long-term, only for the provider to completely fail on their endand then smugly deny you a refund. It's not just unethicalit's predatory. The server performance is absolutely abysmal. It feels like a ticking time bomb. Their servers go down every five damn minutes. I wish that were an exaggeration. You can’t run a business, host clients, or even keep a basic webpage online with this level of instability. And the worst part? They know it. They’ve been told. And they’ve done NOTHING. This isn’t just about downtime. This is about the destruction of trust, time, and business. Their constant outages directly led to the suspension of both my Google Ads and Google Merchant Center accounts. Do you have any idea what kind of hell it is trying to recover from that? The appeals, the explanations, the hours of writing emails and making calls just to prove that you didn’t do anything wrongit was your provider. I’ve lost revenue, credibility, and sleep over this. I’ve spent countless hours troubleshooting problems that weren’t mine to begin with fighting fires started by their failures. The psychological stress of watching your business crumble over something you can't control is unbearable. It’s anxiety. It’s helplessness. It’s rage. And above all, it's betrayal because I trusted them to deliver a basic, functional service. And what do you get when you raise these issues? Nothing. Silence. Or worse copy-pasted excuses from support agents who clearly don’t care and won’t lift a finger to help. If you value your business, your sanity, or even just basic decency, stay as far away from this company as possible. They’re not just unreliable they’re dangerous to your operations and reputation.
