If you complain they won't give the money back - they only refund as credit to reuse their crap service longer. There are so many reviews about the same scam. AKA. RUN AWAY!
Do not trust anything they say. If you have ever registered with them, contact your bank or Paypal to remove ANY LINK before they STEAL your money! I never got my money back even they promise refund on customer support and later change their mind. Don't trust them.
We have been down for 5 days and counting. In February we were down a week and in December we were down 2 weeks. Our organization suffers based on their poor service. There is no customer service, not status or communication on the issue and when we can expect resolution. We are completely at their mercy but with 3 strikes....there won't be a fourth!
After hosting email and a flat HTML site for years, a small orange degraded to such a point that the service was unusable. For almost two years, the technical people could not figure out how to keep (individually addressed) email from being recognized as spam by yahoo and aol. The response by support was fast but that does not good if they cannot fix problems. Something happened to the company management that allows this to happen. I am so happy with ultrawebhosting and cannot believe we did not switch sooner.
Literally unusable as of approximately two months ago. Over 10 second server response times and they have no explanation. They tried to gaslight me into thinking it was my home internet. Very poor quality of service. I've used ASO for over 8 years. They've increased the price every year and then treat me like I and my websites don't matter. There are better options for hosting your websites. Please do not use this company. They outsource support to another country and probably your server as well. It's not worth the headache people. Choose wisely!
Customer support has really gone downhill. Not what they used to be.
When they first started, they were one of the best. However, like so many others, they sold out. Even after new ownership, I still stuck with them because I'm loyal. After finding out my $140 plan didn't include SSL, and that they wanted to charge me an additional $40 per year for just that feature, I decided it was time to move on. That wasn't my only reason though. Support wait times have been increasing and the chat experience was getting worse. Simple questions were taking almost 10 or more minutes to get answered. Since I was only a few days into my renewal period, I didn't think it would be a problem asking for a refund or if they would prorate my account. They refused it. So that's the treatment I received after being a loyal customer for 13 years. They really could care less. Stay away from this company. There are much better hosting options out there that offer better and quicker customer support and features.
Knocked off the air 5 weeks ago by their server failure. Unable to log into my site ever since. They are complete garbage. They seem like a criminal enterprise. There is no way to cancel your credit card even if you cancel 'service' so expect them to continue to charge unless you alert your credit card company to deny any future charges from this oufit
