Thinking to buy a domain on register.it? Think again. I bought a .it domain for 2 euros - seems like a good price right? Call it hidden fees, call it me not being careful enough: got automatic renewal for 46 euros. I call it shady pricing scheme.
This happens because they call "domain" their package that includes the domain name and hosting. You had to enter their panel and ask for a "downgrade" to what they call "domain express". You would pay 11€ per year ... I know, it sounds cheaty from their part ...
