I have been using Hivelocity for around 6 months now and have been a very happy customer. I am pretty picky when it comes to hosting providers. I want to be able to customize my systems in a very specific manner, and I also want a host who has good peering relationships and knowledgeable customer support. Hivelocity has delivered on all three of these.
They were able to quickly provision my system from their easy to use portal, and support was very responsive when I had questions about hardware provisioning as well as for other networking related issues. I am also very happy that they provide native IPv6 to my systems which is another primary requirement for my systems. The network performance has been fantastic, and the fact that they have a presence at 1 Wilshire in LA is also another huge bonus for me.
We have had a great experience with Hivelocity. Server up time has been 100% with consistent performance and customer service is the best I have personally experienced in a very long time. Support and billing departments are very knowledgeable and helpful with awesome response times. We highly recommend!

I've been with HiVelocity for the past 5 years as my only cloud server provider (after having worked with others before), and I feel confident recommending their services to anyone looking for VPS solutions. Their team is very professional, answering all our requests on a timely manner, and often times going the extra mile to help us out. I've used many server configurations, over different datacenters, and the experience has been seamless and fluid. Oh, and their prices are very competitive, as an added bonus. Overall, I'm a very happy client.
We were with our previous hosting company with a dedicated server for over 17 years. They recently sold the company and we were not able to move our services to the new owner (our business and customer base requires domestic hosting). After looking at several hosting companies, we choose Hivelocity. Reasons: domestic hosting, up time, pricing and support, support, support. Oh yea, did I mention support? I run an industrial distribution business. I don't run an IT business. I just need our email to be reliably sent and received and our web site running (with several custom MySQL databases and Perl scripts). Which is where a dedicated server with WHM, CPanel and a top notch support team comes in. Our migration went almost seamless. And where we hit a snag (setting up proper SPF and DKIM records for our DNS entries), Hivelocity support was quick to jump in. I can't emphasize this point enough: you need to have a support department who understands the intricacies of today's Internet. And with Email, these intricacies are plenty and can be confusing. In our case, in addition to running our own SMTP and POP servers, we use a third party customer support system (FRONT) that has to be setup exactly with proper SPF, DKIM and MX records as part of our DNS record. Hivelocity support readily helped us accomplish this task. And now, I can once again focus on running my business. Bravo, Hivelocity. Looking forward to the next 17 years (at least) being hosted by you guys.
