Just Moved to Hivelocity and Love their Support! We were with our previous hosting company with a dedicated server for over 17 years. They recently sold the company and we were not able to move our services to the new owner (our business and customer base requires domestic hosting). After looking at several hosting companies, we choose Hivelocity. Reasons: domestic hosting, up time, pricing and support, support, support. Oh yea, did I mention support? I run an industrial distribution business. I don't run an IT business. I just need our email to be reliably sent and received and our web site running (with several custom MySQL databases and Perl scripts). Which is where a dedicated server with WHM, CPanel and a top notch support team comes in. Our migration went almost seamless. And where we hit a snag (setting up proper SPF and DKIM records for our DNS entries), Hivelocity support was quick to jump in. I can't emphasize this point enough: you need to have a support department who understands the intricacies of today's Internet. And with Email, these intricacies are plenty and can be confusing. In our case, in addition to running our own SMTP and POP servers, we use a third party customer support system (FRONT) that has to be setup exactly with proper SPF, DKIM and MX records as part of our DNS record. Hivelocity support readily helped us accomplish this task. And now, I can once again focus on running my business. Bravo, Hivelocity.
