Over the last year, the service from Arvixe has been horrendous. There have been server outages that have lasted from hours to almost a week. Technical Support staff is incompetent. Additionally, they do not read the messages that one sends in chat. As for generating a trouble ticket, I generated a trouble ticket on Dec. 30, 2022 at 8:30am Central Time. They did not respond until January 3, 2023 at 9:05am stating there was no problem. Well. NO SH*T, Sherlock. The server reappeared sometime after 21:00 on Saturday, December 31, 2022. Even though the server shared057.arvixe.com died sometime on December 29. There are no reports that anything was wrong with the server. Plus, Arvixe raises their rates every year once you are stupid enough to purchase a service. Things were good in 2015, yet the service and support has rapidly declined since 2019. At one time, I hosted 10 domains on Arvixe. Because of poor service I moved them to another hosting service. Will move the last three this month.
Avoid them if you care about your business as they don't care!!!
My business emails not working for over 2 days. My ticket for them is opened and nobody responds at all. No telephone contact at all. After an hour of waiting to chat with them the same answer all the time, "the admin tries to sort it". I'm currently losing my clients as no emails coming thru and was informed on arvixe chat that all emails are gone. No response to undelivered emails nothing. This is not the first time this happening as I'm there client for 12 years they just get worse each year! Your websites will be down until you will not find that your self and after informing them they need a few days to sort it out. I strongly do not recommend them as their support doesn't exist at all. I prefer to pay a little more and have a better hosting provider with faster support for my company.
We have been held as a hostage by Arvixe, Arvixe has blocked our access to all our company data, our emails, all the online tools we have been running on our websites for 300+ customers of ours.
As an organization we have the right to all the data stored and backed up with ARVIXE, if Arvixe team is so incompetent to solve such a grave issue first-hand, the least they can do is provide us with our data so that we don’t suffer these huge losses. More than 72 hours have passed just to receive a response and for the account to get activated. It’s simply unacceptable in today’s world for any IT company. Arvixe has ruined all our reputation that we have built in over 18 years in merely 3 days.
Our Account has been suspended due to a billing issue. Our account was created six years back when we had Mr. Soni as one of our partners and the account was created using his credit card (not on his name). Now when Mr. Soni has left our organization, Arvixe has automatically charged a six years old credit card which was not supposed to be charged for the invoice amount $229.42. Unaware of the charge Mr. Soni disputed this transaction and we weren’t informed about the same by Arvixe billing team, without reaching out to us and being completely inconsiderate about how severely it could affect our business ARVIXE TEAM suspended our account.
We have been asking for our account access for over 3 days so we can pay our invoices to take our account out of suspension but no one is there to take care of it. They just have a chat client, no phone or email address to address this issue directly. After chatting with their agents, we have always been asked for the same documentation over and over that we have submitted every time. After every submission we have been assured that someone will get back us to take the updated payment info but no one ever emailed or called to take the payment. This is happening 5 times in every 24 hours.
To take our account out of suspension, we have been requesting and cooperating with Arvixe chat support executives which are overseas, we have also provided all the required proofs, yet no action has been taken. We haven’t been able to login to our account. We have tried to reach out several times to the billing team to make the required payment but no response. We have never seen a company who doesn’t even have representatives to even accept the payment.
We have been facing this issue for over 3 days now – our sites, online customer tools, emails and all our data is inaccessible. We are suffering extensive Business Losses due to the unprofessionalism of ARVIXE TEAM. We provide services to more than 700 hotels and due to this suspension, we aren’t able to provide any tech support and are refunding all our customers due to no service. So far we have incurred $7800.00 in loss of revenue because of these documented refunds.
We've been waiting since 23rd February to present but still there is no response from Arvixe.

I had experienced tough situations like the site is down for 3 days chasing their support for resolution. They removed phone support, chat support as well. Now chat support is coming back but I can bet they can not understand anything you say. Now the pricing is increased showing the greatest support they are offering :) Joke of the day...
I definitely do not recommend Arvixe hosting... I have to take a shot in migrating to a better service.
For 5 days I have been trying resolve the issues with the websites I have with Arvixe, in the end the only solution appears to be, delete and start again. That would be OK but I need to keep the 5 year email history, you'd think that would be simple and also that Arvixe would want to help clean the 1700 malware files attracted to my 3 NEW site in 3 days. Alas no!!!
Apparently a reset means the backup taken monthly, weekly and daily are also deleted, BUT that depend who you speak to on chat,. some appear to think its possible to restore from the back up, and frankly logic would hope so.! The backup I took created abuse warning and then the account was suspended for abuse of a GB quota that isn't written anywhere and is supposed to be "unlimited".. The solution; I have to download the files via FTP, the certificates arvixe has for the site are 1 year old so the FTP keep stopping, 5 days later and I am still working on getting the files downloaded. WINSC works better than filezilla because of the cert issue.
Lets hope I can get this resolved. It could have been so simple, if they'd done from their side.. it would have probably taken an hour or two. In short: STAY AWAY, WELL AWAY.
Been their client for more than six years. Throughout all this time I constantly ran into problems - with technical support, stability of work, speed of work, pricing. For example, I began to pay more than the initial price.
Even the most unloaded site can easily be banned for "excess resources." For the same reason, your files can be easily deleted, even if you have an unlimited data plan. They will send you an e-mail that you have 48 hours to “decide” what you want to delete. Do not have time to read - they will decide for you. Never start your site with this hoster, no matter how attractive the offer may seem, because you will regret very quickly.
Since I've been using this hosting I've had a lot of problems with resource allocation to my site, a lot of errors regarding caching and connection to database even in moments when user count is at it's lowest, it seems like those errors are in the moments when their US based company has the highest user connections. After one such crash I wasn't able to get my backup because they do not make full backups and afterwards suggested me to pay for it extra or do it manually. It seems that business shared plan is as overloaded as they basic shared plans.
And now they just terminated my websites and asked for me to join cloudflare, to point my DNS there so i can reduce the load of my page because they are saying that my page has made a big impact on their servers even though they can't provide me logs with data that could prove that and I haven't received any warnings regarding high load. My website is now offline for 3 days. I have to wait for CloudFlare support because I cannot change DNS myself there. So I have no clue for how long time my sites will be offline. Support doesn't respond to my questions regarding refunds of lost time and they just force me to register at CloudFlare and say that if I don't do that my site will be removed. I think that since Arvixe is a partner of CloudFlare this is just a scam to get more customers to CloudFlare. Because I've been running my script for 8 years on multiple hostings and never had a such problem with high loads.
